The Challenge Today

The crew cannot be experts on all the equipment on board today and getting experts on-board is expensive. Increasing the speed and quality of repairs, while decreasing the costs of repairs is imperative. This is what Tusibee Managed Service has been designed to do.

The Solution

Tusibee managed service includes our specialized communications software on a mobile device with an industrial Bluetooth headset, a USB camera, a 3G/4G router, a global SIM with data, plenty of ethernet cable, and wireless access points.

The Process

The crew starts a call. Our support team ensures the service provider joins the call, and we monitor call quality. If requested, our team records and documents the call.

The Integration

We manage the installation, we pre-configure all components, and we manage each component of the solution. There is no IT overhead.


Tusibee Inspector


The Challenge Today

For Inspections today, the inspector must report after doing the inspection. This results in a having to transcribe notes, recalling everything, thought, heard or seen regarding the inspection. If photos were taken the inspector must integrate those photos in the final report after the report is finished, creating triple work. Transcribing notes taken during the inspection and attaching the correct photos identified from the transcription.

The Solution

Tusibee Inspect moves inspection to a mobile device which enables the inspector to write the inspection report simultaneously to executing the inspection. Images and videos are imbedded with the object that is being reported on.

The Process

The person doing inspection selects which inspection they want to execute. If Tusibee Inspector has been used before, objects it learned will automatically be identified and historical records displayed in the main view screen. The person doing the inspection then completes various fields to remark on the status and adds videos and/or photos to the item being inspected. After the inspection is done, the person doing the inspection can immediately print the inspection report, synchronize the report locally or on shore.

The Integration

After the inspection report is finished, the person doing the inspection has the option print the report locally (requires network integration), synchronize locally and/or synchronize with servers connected to mobile device (via the 3G/4G or WiFi connection). As these reports are based on a database, they can be exported in any format for printing, connected to other systems, or exported for import with other systems.


Tusibee Service Recorder


The Challenge Today

For any service being done on vessel today, there is very little trail to what has been done in matter of time invested and in results.
As the consequence, often service is being disputed with service vendors. Often there are no photos or videos being taken of service, and often some data from service is being omitted from final service report.

The Solution

Tusibee Service Recorder allows recording of service with a mobile device which allows both parties exact insight on what has been done in service that was done on vessel. Images and videos are taken together with notes on the service being recorded.

The Process

Vessel owners decide that service is needed on vessel. The crew or service vendor uses phone to record service being done. Service is divided in sections and objects. For each object being serviced, status, commend and media needs to be added for service to be complete.

The Integration

After the service recording is finished, both service provider and vessel owners have insight in this recording. Recording is saved locally and synchronized with cloud servers (via the 3G/4G or WiFi connection). As reports are tagged, they can be played section by section and object by object, no need to watch all recording in search for specific part of the service.
